Manage your broadcast live
Going live, checking that the stream is healthy, and closing the broadcast out are all handled in Studio, so nobody has to find a separate utility while a show is running.
A broadcast is a production run, not just a streaming toggle. Starting it involves checks, and ending it involves wrapping up cleanly so the recording and the metrics are correct.
Before you go live
- Confirm every camera is delivering a source
- Verify the program feed is the shot you intend to open on
- Check the stream destination and that your credentials are valid
- Confirm the recording destination has space
While you are live
- Watch the outgoing feed rather than only the multiview
- Keep an eye on connection health for every source
- Have a prepared fallback scene ready
