Switch between multiple cameras
Switching is the core of a live show. Studio lets you arrange cameras into a scene, then move between shots during the performance without leaving the show.
A scene is a set of sources with a defined order and selection. Build the scenes you need before the show, and cutting during the performance becomes choosing between prepared options rather than rebuilding the program live.
Scenes you might prepare
- Opening wide shot with all angles available
- Close-ups for dialogue
- A holding shot for intervals and house lights
- A full multiview layout for transitions
When a camera is switched to, it becomes the program source. The rest of your sources stay live, so moving to a different angle is a cut rather than a restart.
