Connect to Studio
A VisionCam camera connects to Studio and appears as a source, ready to be placed in a scene and switched to like any other input.
Studio treats a connected camera as a source. Once it appears, scenes, switching, and graphics work the same way whether the source is a camera or something else.
Bringing a camera online
- Connect the camera to Studio using a supported cable
- Power the camera on and wait for it to be detected
- Confirm the source appears with an image, not just a name
- Name the source after the angle rather than the input number
Naming sources after their angle is the part people skip and later regret. Once a show is running, a source called Stage Left is worth more than a source called Input 3.
